The original hardware on my bodge was really shitty - all soft metal with deformed threads and bent bolts. But the funny thing is that every single piece was chrome plated - every nut, bolt, washer and lockwasher - even the big-ass motor mounting bolt. Everything.

It's a piece of Stainless steel that is hand cut and formed. Then it is pop riveted onto the chassis.

Real professional stuff.
