With all the new awards being created lately, and recent red toaster to honor an important fallen member, it got me thinking of a few other possible nsm awards to honor a few other nsm fallen members with awards given to those who follow in their footsteps with similar approach to their builds.

Vader built.
-above and beyond restoration/build awarded to a member whose build achieves a level of perfection above and beyond.

One immediate nominee is patricks unstealth build!

Bitza
-original and creative builds that go against the grain with great end results.

An immediate nominee for this one is whodats pink smallframe with p200 engine!

We have in fact been discussing additional awards, both for specific people and for NSM in particular. The Plaid award was the first but definitely not the last.

The nice thing about the plaid award is that it was given specific, objective criteria.

As described, it seems like the Vader and Bitza awards would be much more subjective? So then you get into committees and deciding how to decide?

Most of the awards are pretty subjective.

These have relatively straightforward targets that nsm members would recognize if achieved and awarded. But yes the rub is more work for nsm moderators.

Or nsm members can collectively nominate projects for mods to approve.

It's the gamification of nsm build threads! Goals to achieve.
