Anyone have any recommendations on seats for a VBA? Is there a recommended place to get them repaired? Or are there seat covers and or seats available here in the USA? Only place I can find decent looking ones are from SIP Scooter Shop such as this one:
https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/product/seat-sip-classic_75502CBR
Anywhere else or other options? Hate to shell out $55 just for shipping
Thank you!

Plenty of shops in the US have or can get you whatever you need ... Scooter Mercato, Scooterwest, Bar Italia Classics, ScooterSpeed, Gickspeed, just to same a few.

Seats are more or less a personal preference. Are you looking for a bench or a saddle seat?

Looking for a bench. Mine has seen better days but the frame is intact.
I've checked scooter mercato and some of the others you mentioned. I think I found one that is black and kind of blah
Here is mine.

If you have your heart set on one at SIP, Mercato (and some other shops) will order it for you, and save you the shipping.

You can order an SIP part thru Scoot Mercato. I've done it.
I recovered my GL seat and I like it better than new one from SIP.

If you have the dough, SIP has a no-spring upgrade:
https://www.sip-scootershop.com/en/product/seat-sip-classic-comfort_7550CCBR

Springs are problematic in a lot of ways. I got this seat. Feels like a modern Vespa seat. Loving it so far.

One beef about this purchase:
I piggy-backed it with an order I had to make anyway. The shipping wasn't bad. Two days later they sent me a $26 invoice to make up for the "difference between the quoted shipping and the new actual shipping." Online there is no way to cancel the order once they charge you. I could have gone to customer service (which is very good) and cancelled that way but didn't have the time. Shipping prices fluctuate like crazy, so this policy is probably saving them from shipping things essentially free.

Thanks for that Ray8, was wondering why certain ones were more expensive than others even though they looked the same. So without the springs is better. I will probably splurge and get that and order through Scooter Mercato.

All helpful info. Thanks everyone!

I found one identical to VPFalcon's on Facebook Marketplace for $45 plus shipping. I have it on my VBA and I think it looks pretty good. I'm a bit long- legged for the solo seat. I need a little room to slide back.
