HELP!!
2015 Vespa Sprint150
I turn my key and my dashboard/display does not turn on. DOES NOT light up or start, no horn, no lights, immobilizer does flash. When I turn key you can hear the whirring sound of power but I cannot start. Checked kill switch and fuses didn't see any problems there. Scooter has brand new battery. I was about to start doing some maintenance install new battery, oil change, and belt service. I turned bike on yesterday worked great but next day it doesn't turn on.... The nearest vespa mechanic is 2.5 hours away I have no way of transport and I am trying to troubleshoot this. I would very much appreciate input please.... Thank you....

Start with the easy stuff - are the connections to the new battery tight? My son's scooter kept dying every couple of days, and it seemed to be a loose battery connection - at least it hasn't been problematic since I tightened it.

I'm assuming, since it is a new battery, your connections are good, but it's the only advice I have to give.

It would not hurt to get the battery tested under load. It could be faulty. My 2016 Sprint did the same thing when I stopped to gas it up. No lights, no clicks, no start. My wife brought me my portable battery booster and when I hooked it up the lights all came on and it started. Got it home and replaced the battery. All was well after that.

Try another battery (without buying it) ...

Thank you so much for the replies. I have tried testing battery with scooter on & off I even took my husband's battery of his motorcycle which I know works. I still have a dead stick....so sad

I have a 2015 Primavera 150 that is experiencing almost the exact same problem. Everything was working just fine for months, then insert the key, dash lights up all good, then I turn the ignition and it dies on me. No response whatsoever from there. Fuses look good, battery is charged, there's a few things I'm tinkering with but honestly I'm pretty lost. I'd love to hear if you figure anything out.

My Vespa Sprint S 125 was working perfectly. Then it rained. Suddenly the dash board didn't light up, no immobilized light , no seat opening button. Tried various things , but fault occurs when Dash is clicked on. I don't think that a 4 year old Vespa should have a leaking dashboard no ?
