The ABS video is amazing and not surprising. Holy crap ABS is fantastic!

A great excuse for my next Vespa!

When did Vespa start adding ABS?

Yeah, that 'mid-corner' segment of the ABS video (1:52) where the front wheel lets go and the bike 'low sides'. That was me weekend before last on the big bike. (Everybody walked away relatively unscathed)

Even if you don't hit anything hard and come to a sudden stop. The initial impact with the ground and the slide are not an experience I'd like to repeat soon.

I'll just leave this here.

Good timing... just as I was contemplating a new open-face helmet to use with the scoot.

I think I'll just stick with the full-face modular...

Yeah... I hear you...
I'd LIKE to ride the scooter with an open-face. But... just don't think it'll work for me. Too old to increase my risk factors. And, after so many years with the full-face, every time I try on anything less, I feel NAKED.

... and my three-wheeled Yamaha 155cc is much more agile and safer because it also has ABS and full braking with three disc brakes and weighs only 160 kilograms.
