Last year I had a motor rebuilt for my '57 Allstate and I'm only now getting around to putting the scooter on the road.
It has a new Pinasco/Dell'Orto PHVB carb on it and I don't really know how to set it up.

It starts right up but the idle doesn't want to settle down and I have to keep blipping the throttle to keep it from stalling. I can't tell if it's just my lack of knowledge of non-SI carbs or if there is some other problem. So, if anyone has any tips about this type of carb let me know.

Tomorrow I'm going to take a look at the idle jet, and I'll check for air leaks.

What is the rest of your setup and where did you purchase the equipment?

Pinasco 160 Nordkapp with reed valve
Flytech Ignition
PHVB 22mm carb

You sent me a video of it running before I got it, so I think it has to do with me hooking up the carb and cables etc.
I was going to message you if I didn't get any hints on this forum, but here you are.

Probably a decent place to start.

This morning I took out the idle jet and blew compressed air through it.
Scooter idles now. Time to break it in.
