Looking at the Vespa's transport compartment ...
(right now I'm with a friend of Piaggio's seller and more)
We talked about making cardboard templates to give to pizzerias for customers with Vespa and with them making pizza of a size that does not exceed the limits; obviously it would be necessary to build washable and reusable plastic containers in order not to dirty the luggage compartment during the transport journey.
It is obtained not to waste cardboard for disposable containers and the lower cost of these helps the pizza producer ...
Cardboard templates and reusable containers can also be built DIY with plastic sheets and staples.
Stupid idea?

I thought all pizza's were made in a round shape?, I would love to see a pizza made in the shape of a pet carrier. The easiest solution is to always order a calzone when collecting a pizza on a Vespa.

Dominos regular size fits nicely on the scoot floor. Slightly awkward coming to a stop but most toppings stay intact.

Now I need to find out if their new mini range will fit in the pet carrier.

I see China 50cc scooters with Domino's Pizza bags on the back running around my area. Not sure if its because no one wants to work, to avoid insurance cost or they allow moped to deliver pizzas now. A little late now that our TGB dealer no longer sells the Delivery 50cc.

Domino's medium pizza boxes fit perfectly in the Piaggio BV350 top case. I was able to fit two in it, plus a box of breadsticks or cookies on top of that, and a 2 liter bottle of coke below.

I was always able to transport even a large pizza on a bike as small as a Scarabeo 50. Just needed a stiff enough piece of cardboard (or a thin but sturdy small sheet of plywood) cut to about the size of the box, and juuuuuuuust the right couple of bungee cords; they had to be tight enough to prevent the box from sliding, but not tight enough to cut into it. The seat was darn near unusable for the ride home, but the reward was pizza.

To go along with others, though, my first thought was those TGB Delivery scoots, and my second was calzones.

Just before sitting down at my computer and looking at this site I started warming up the oven to cook a frozen pizza. Not as good as a cupcake that comes from a shop, but, still a good thing to have after reading this thread.

You can even sleep in that container ...
I was saying a solution to use without having the hassle of mounting / having an added container; you will tell me that in some cases the carrier is very small compared to the standard size of a pizza but there is no problem, you make two pizzas each with a different taste and put one on top of the other.
And yes, calzone is a good idea but it's not a pizza; at this point I suggest to put the rice balls (supplì) or the arancini in the small compartments behind the leg shield.

I have eaten a lot of pizza in my day. Pizza pockets, real NY pizza, decadent Detroit style pizzas, even Chicago style right there in Lou Malnati's. I have eaten in dive parlors, small chains, and even secret pizza places with no name or logo (hidden in the Cosmo in Vegas.) Shy of actually touring the south of Italy, I feel I can say I've eaten some great pizza in my day.

If it's late, and I'm hungry, you better believe I'll call Domino's. I will probably look for a local place first, but I always aim to support local business. Domino's really turned it around the last few years.

That being said, these days 90% of my pizza is homemade. I picked up a Roccbox in January and throw 3-6 pies a week.

THIS is the correct answer!

Ooni Koda 16 here, with lazy Susan and round stone mod, and firebrick chunk in the back left corner to diffuse the hot spot. I had a 2stone Pizza Grill before I got the Ooni, used it for about 10 years.

And my local Italian grocery/deli people love it when I pick up doughs and toppings with the Vespa parked out front.

I worked at a Domino's in Bradenton, Fla. back in the early nineties. Our manager was a stickler for quality. He wouldn't even use the commissary ground beef; he sent us to the local market for ground chuck. We made a pretty good pizza.

I'll confess to being a pizza snob, especially when it comes to the quality of the crust. It's got to be made Napoli-style, in an 800-900-degree oven, with crust scorched just the right amount, and made only with quality 00 flour, water and salt -- preferably leavened by a sourdough starter.

NO "delivery pizza" even comes close. I either make my own in a Big Green Egg or get a decent cupcake eat-in at the only good brick-oven pizzeria in town.

Znomit is right, though... Domino's does qualify from a geometric standpoint. Razz emoticon

(edit -- Ooops! I see I used one of the forbidden words. "Cupcake" should have been "P.I.E")

Try sliced figs, honey, Gorgonzola, and prosciutto. Garnish with a little fresh basil or mint. Mmm!

For four separate birthdays I have done Pizza Crawls (go to a pizza place, everyone shares a medium or couple smalls, move on to next place, etc.)

Pizza is understood to be inevitable.

So to see it it seems made to enter in the luggage compartment under the saddle of the Vespa ...
Apart form it also looks good, a personal observation ...from the ingredients I see above it seems that you never manage to put only the essentials.

OUCH! Sometime mint kills smells and sometimes tastes, I would avoid using it if it's not a roast but I can give it a try (if you read that I was put in the pillory in the square you will know why )

Just a little for garnish, Attila, but I usually use basil. Basil and mint are both in the same botanical family, by the way.

I may take you up on your offer on our next trip to Italy (although it may be in a couple more years as my bank account is still recovering from my last two trips).
