My very generous boss gave me his Granturismo 200. Needless to say I'm thrilled. It sat for about 8 months with very little ethanol free gas in it so that is a big plus. After replacing the battery and adding some good gas it just took a shot of starting fluid to get her running and run she does. I found a lot of great information under the Wiki tab. I even did a search for belt replacement and it came up with every 7500 miles. Glad I did that search because my scooter has 7640 miles on it so I'm over do. I did replace the oil and filter and will do the gear oil this weekend. Anything else you guys can suggest before I start having fun on this thing? Thanks in advance, Tom. I'm not a real doctor but I do play one on the internet.

Yes . And I would check the age of the tires as well as wear. By the time a tire gets to 6 or 7 years old, the rubber compound begins to get hard. Also, the usual recommendation is to flush/replace coolant and brake fluid every 2 years. And remember, we like pictures!

Thanks Bill and it looks like you got a nice stable there. And Dooglas I changed the tires out for my boss about 3 years ago so they aren't to bad. I'll save the coolant and brakes for next weekend and with any luck that belt will be in also. Is scooterwest the best and or only place to buy parts?

There are a few others as well:

I've got a GTS now, but I still miss my GT. Lucky you!

Yes, I am a member of 7 Bridges Scooter Club.

I used to be much more involved, but have been a slacker the past few years.

But I appear to have work under control at the moment and led the ride last weekend. I am leading again this Sunday, on a nice route to Micanopy.

Feel free to join in.

I have nothing planned tomorrow if you might want to ride somewhere. Send a message if interested.

Bill

Well Bill I guess we (my wife and I) missed this weekend tour but maybe soon. The GT200 runs great but needs a few things here and there, like a new ignition lock cyclinder that is welded onto the frame. I'm going to do a search before I post my own current problem.
