Modern Vespa

Anyone tried straight bulb replacements or conversion kits etc? I have US-edition 2019 MP3 500. So it's be just for the low-high beam, since the others are LED already.... H7 I think.

As an aside, also interested in people's fav engine oil. Not that I seem to need much, in 2k miles the bike has not used any up yet.

no problem but use the passive cooled ones the ones with a fan will give more problems

I tried several, and the only one that fits properly and lasts is the OSRAM gen2 bulbs. It is also the only one where the dust cap can be reinstalled without issue. It also puts out a beam pattern that is near identical to the halogen bulb.

Got mine from Amazon. Here is the link. Be aware that you can only use the low beam LED bulb since Piaggio uses a non standard socket for the high beam.

As for oil, I use the factory spec'd Eni\Agip oil exclusively. No oil consumption after nearly 40K.
