Hi Folks - 2018 Vespa 300 GTS Super with 1K miles. Ran it the other day and noticed the engine trouble light on and stayed on. Came home checked coolant level - it was fine. The day was hot 95+F in Texas but no way that I know to check the temp.
I just checked the battery voltage and while the engine is off, the voltage is 12.6V. When running on the stand and reving, it tops out at 14.9 so I don't think the Voltage Regulator is bad.
Now, crazy as it seems, the engine trouble light is out.
Do I just ride with the Vespa Gods in my favor or is there any other troubleshooting to be done if the light stays out?
Is there the equivalent of a diagnostic test connection that gives error codes like a car?
Any help from all y'all smart guys would be greatly appreciated.
