Welcome to the forum! As far as I can tell all scooters and their riders are welcome. Even the most avid Vespa fans here also at least dabble in other scooters, motorcycles etc.

I thought so. Appreciate the warm welcome! I love most scooters, especially the vintage ones. I used to own a 2T Stella, ended up selling it about 6 years ago
Anyway, I am waiting for the arrival of my Royal Alloy. I will be sure to post m thoughts and plenty of pics as well! Hope to cross paths with y'all along the way. If there is anyone in the Northern Colorado area that wants to ride let me know. Hopefully I will be riding in a few weeks. Cheers! |

I used to ride my friends Vespa Allstate around the woods (Like a dirt bike) in Putnam County New York back in the day. Fell in love with scooters on the spot.

Thanks! I have always admired the look and history of the vintage scooter, especially the Lambrettas. I have come close to purchasing some old Vespas but never materialized. Would love to add one some day! The anticipation of riding has really lifted my spirits and kept me going through these dark times. My old scooter books and magazines have kept me engaged as well. Some naysayers have tried to discourage me on my new purchase, saying that I am crazy. They are right about me being crazy but wrong about me buying another scooter. Now I have my scooter family to enable me!

Exactly! Since I sold my Stella I have not been the same. Really looking forward to riding again!

they only scooter makes I don't care for are the Chinese cheap junk sold here in the USA at your local swap meets and neighborhood grocery store per say.
but that does not take away from talking to good folks who like to ride. Some folks just can't swing a decent scooter in their budget and still want to feel the wind in their face. |

I totally get it. I was once a victim of a cheap Chinese scooter. I ended up selling it to a friend in NC who rode it into the ground. Fond memories of my little orange piece of shit!
I am lucky that I managed to stash some money away for my Royal Alloy and accessories. Very grateful for where I am at. |
