The twists and turns were great! Took them more slowly on the way up but quicker on the way down. Can't wait to do it again. Early morning is the time to go, much less traffic than on the weekend. There were a lot more cars and trucks driving up when I was driving down.

Oh yeah! You definitely want to get out there before all the trucks pulling boats and campers arrive.

Did you continue on the road past Tortilla Flat? There is another 6.5 miles of paved road before it turns into a dirt road. There is very little traffic on that stretch since most people stop at Tortilla Flat and turn around. Quite a bit more elevation too.

Yep, I rode past Tortilla Flat to where the paved road ends. Nice views. One of the pics of my scooter was from up there. I've got to do the ride again sometime, it's a blast!

I thought that pic looked like it was taken at or near the end of the road. I just could place the exact turnout. Some of my favorite photos are from that part of the ride.
