Modern Vespa

Just got my 2005 GT 200 back from the Vespa dealer in RVA. What a terrific shop and the people there are marvelous. My bike has almost 10k miles on the ticker. I bought it from the original owner about five years ago, and I doubt she ever had it in for routine maintenance, other than possibly oil and filter changes. My bike ran great all 35 miles of the ride home.

That's awesome, I have to say that the Yellow GTS is pretty sweet looking.

Also, +1 for Chelsea @ Scoot Richmond for hands down being the best dealer to work with. When I bought my 21 HPE from her in April this year, it was a great experience.

I wasn't a fan of sticking the inspection sticker on the left side of the front fender so I made a plate to attach to the left knee fairing and she had no problem with the placement there.

Question from a curious ... What is the inspection plate?

In Virginia, you have to display a inspection sticker on the left side of a vehicle or motorcycle -- Vespa dealers usually slap them on the left front fender.

Also in Italy but it is a sticker to stick in the vehicle registration document, it is done every 4 years for the first time and then every two years.
