Thanks for that..

It does look still small enough to be comfortable... I'll look into it..

I'm looking for a full face. Wish I could justify spending $450-$500 for the Billlitt but I'm living off savings now. Probably get the Qualifier.
Does anyone know how these two feel with glasses?
This is the one I want.

I wear a Qualifier & wear glasses
The opening is big enough, snug at the temples, works fine for all manner of glasses for me, arms that wrap around the ear, take some fussing around

I trimmed the styrofoam slightly at the temples for my wife, to make it easier to put on large sunglasses

I purchased an N40-5 with removable chin bar.
Easy to use, and great for glasses. Big wide visor.

I tried a jet (LS 2 ) but just can't get used to not wearing a full face.

Motorcycle gear always has some great helmets on sale.
I purchased my shoei from them a long time ago and was very happy.
The AGV retro helmet looks very very cool

There are also modular helmets with the chin guard that rotates up to the back of the neck and become jet.

An oldie but a goodie. A Sparx Helmet. They are out of business now it seems. Their helmets did not sell well here as they were Asian sized. This is an XL and its more like medium. Facepalm emoticon

Anyways this helmet has just received a ground up restoration. It matches my Vespa and has never been dropped. I got in 2005 and it is DOT. It was in my Garage when the roof collapsed and the chin pad got wet and had to be thrown away. I did not discover it was wet until 2 weeks later so the chin pad sat in a puddle and got moldy. The rest of it got stinky and dirty too.

How do you restore a helmet? First off you remove all the interior parts you can, namely the soft foam stuff. I hand cleaned each piece until the water turned clear. 4 attempts did the trick. A liberal dosing of Disinfectant as well to every part including the styrofoam liner. Clap emoticon

I cant get any replacement parts, like the visor, but it is in good shape and a polishing cloth made it crystal clear. It sat around in the closet for 10 years too, so the exterior got a good leaning and waxing. The gasket on the bottom got ruined too, but I will make a new one from some Auto gasket/weatherstrip or maybe door trim. I also added the Reflective strip that covers the Sparx logo

It is light, quiet and looks awesome, I think. I am using it all the time and even adapted my Bluetooth into it. It feels like new and a self stick felt pad now fits in the chin area. My head is in a good place and this marks my return to a Full Face.
