Modern Vespa

Well it's been a while since I've posted, last was back when we lost Chris, still think of him.

My P200 is running great. Malcolm pings me now and then. I made some handlebar brackets for the small engine temp gauges for Malcolm who thanked me with a seat cover I really needed. Weather in SF sort of preventing at least me from scootering this past week or so. One of these days I have to fix the oil leak that sort of drains down over the carb from the gas tank mix but otherwise all is well on the western front.

I’ll be working Aug 5-19 on the boats. Want to work on that oil leak the night of the 19th or 20th? Brackets were a hit, and most of the ones you cut were claimed.

Hey Malcolm, Thanks for the offer. I have to get to it but with travel and work I can't put a date to it.

It's not the tank gas feed stop-cock or that little post thingy, whatever it is called, in the carb. I think it is the oil injection feed, if that is the proper name for it. It leaves an oily puddle in the garage, not the first or only in there.
