It's been a while since I have own or even riding a scooter, at least 8 years. I am not getting any younger so I thought it was now or never time to get back into it. I put down a deposit for a Royal Alloy 150 (class grey) way back in April through the fine folks of Sportique Scooters in Denver. I am told that the scooter should be delivered in a couple of weeks.
Since I put down the $ I have been reconnecting with a passion that's always been there but has been ignored. The anticipation reminds me of what it was like to be a child waiting for Christmas. Part of my daily routine is to log on to the forum and see what people are doing with their scooters these days. I feel as if I am now once again a part of a wonderfully colorful cast of characters and beautiful human beings. I have always known that owning a scooter is much more than owning a machine. The connection is there, the connection is real.
Hope y'all have a wonderful week.
