Hello
I recently noticed when I press the start switch to start the engine nothing happens. Then I press a little harder and the engine started. I did many start tests since two days and I am pretty sure my start switch has an issue. To start the engine I have to press harder on the start switch button … anyone has the same issue?!!

It sounds like your start switch has gone bad. They can wear out with time. Luckily, the switch itself is very inexpensive. It's a bit of a bother to open up the headset to replace it, but not a difficult job if you read up beforehand and take your time.

Alternately, you could try spraying some contact cleaner into the switch and see if that helps. If so, you will probably still end up needing to replace the switch, but it may buy you some time.

Thank you for your response, has you said I sprayed some contact cleaner into the switch and I also read from someone that it’s important to not turn the gas handle not even a bit cause the computer with cutoff for safety. Now the switch start the engine right away woaw I hope this was the perfect fixed
