They seem so simple. But the straps are slipping after I thighten them down. It is making me want to move back to bungies. Any tips?

Thanks. I wasn't clear in my post: the straps slip in the plastic piece, meaning the tension in the strap is removed while the scooter is in motion. I've used a half-hitch to prevent this, but it seems a major PIA compared to bungees.

Used many times -- never had a problem -- sounds like they are threaded thru the clip incorrectly.
