out of nowhere. did the fuel injector or something break off? didn't hit any bumps or anything dont ride with a passenger and this happened. is this an easy fix? can i just push it back in place and replace a simple little part or should I be taking this into a shop for repair?

here's footage of it pouring some gas and the dangling part in question:

That's your fuel tap, that's *meant* to be securely fitted to the bottom of the fuel tank. If you're lucky you can jam it back into place.

The only times I've seen this before is in London, when juvenile fuel thieves would rip out the tap to fill their own container and make off with the juice for their stolen 'mopeds'.

Without a second thought, though it could be more like $12-worth. Real low-lifes.
