Piaggio shutting off uphill

OP niti Member Piaggio Skipper 125 4t Joined: UTC Posts: 5 Location: Germany	UTC quote Piaggio skipper st125 4t same engine as vespa , shuts off when going uphill and wont start , it keeps cranking , but if I remove fuel hose from vacum petcock and throw air with mouth it fires up immediately . What I tried ; new vacum and fuel hoses , new air filter , oil and oil filter , carb cleaned and adjusted but unsuccesful to fix the problem .

It's cheap and you said you already changed vacuum lines, but the problem is at the petcock or upstream? Alternately, I was taking something wrong with the carb float, which would pivot with bike on an incline? (But if float problem, then odd that the vac line would solve immediately.)
