Can anyone give me some suggestions on how to remove the front hub for a 1960 VBA? See picture below. And disregard the hammer in the background (no i didn’t use it…..yet…. )
Thanks!

Try to heat it up first to see it it pops off that way. If not 3 arm puller tool from harbor freight.

Had the same issue on my VNA and had to use the puller. Worked pretty quickly. Just make sure you put a thick-ish piece of square metal on top of the threads for putting the wheel on. That way the hub pulls off the brake pads. It won’t pull up otherwise since the center of the puller would be pushing into the hub.

I used a half inch thick piece of steel. Worked like a charm.

I'll sheepishly admit to the hammer technique once, but it was a soft rubber hammer and I use a piece of 1x1 wood as a drift. Got away with it.

Ok thanks guys. Just wasn’t sure if there was something else attached that I was missing. Will try and use a puller. Much appreciated!
