My scoot hit 10k - got it with 3k on it. The only maintenance we have done is to change the oil and filter and put in new tires.

scooterpartsco - has a complete tune up kit containing:

Drive Belt,

ScooterWest - they sell a belt, variator and clutch overhaul kit

Not sure which one to get.

U need to open up the transmission and service the poor thing. So u need the variator removal tool and the clutch locking tool. New belt, rollers and guides.
I wouldn't worry about brake pads till u need them, and genuine piaggio ones are pricey and not worth it.
The air filter can be washed and reused for years until it degrades.

The only small point I would add is not to wash your airfilter and re-oil it more than 4 times. After that they degrade and the engine sucks in the broken bits of filter causing issues. Personally, I just renew the filter as they cost peanuts and it saves having to mix petrol and oil to do the job and then disposing of it safely.

Don't forget to change the engine coolant. It's a time thing just as much as a mileage thing. You are well under the mileage but you must change it every two years as per the book. It starts to turn very acidic after two years or so and eats your engine from the inside, damages your water pump and seals.
