Yep, the plan is strip all bubbles as clean as possible, Eastwood Fast Etch, and Owatrol oil plus wax. Rails to be done with bolts instead of rivets to facilitate maintenance as required.

You want the violent or tool-based option?
You can drive a couple chisels or screwdrivers into the gap between the crank and bearing, and work it off that way. Plan on a fair amount of profanity and probably a blood sacrifice. Or you can buy a buy tools and go the civilized route. Choice is up to you. |

damn, that's $100 part, and changing to some other tree comes with a bigger price tag in loose gears, so I guess $100 it is unless Greasy comes up with something from the stash.

That's gotta be a 98 (there's not an 86 main that I'm aware of), but only a micrometer knows for sure.
As best I recall, my sprintV came with a 20/20 on it. Is yours a 2-port? |

I'd have assumed you had a lifetime supply of spare jets after your P200 build. Or was it all PHBL?

I know, now I feel like I have to take the glove box black also. Maybe just the door would do? The floor mat will fix the floor. I've pondered a vinyl wrap for the door but I'm afraid the latch won't work with that idea. I'm thinking some stickers like the ska guy might save the effort and work.

my vote is for some tasteful stickers.
keep it clean and not too busy looking. just the door would look wacky, so if you do it go whole hog. |

Anyone have a favorite place to grab a bunch of ska themed stickers? Trojan records, the specials, the ska dude, all fit with the theme here. The crash bars will end up on here too.
