black would look sick, but I'm actually kinda digging the red. it's just off enough of "resale red" and it sort of breaks up the lines.
either way, I wouldn't be ashamed to rock that on a ride. it looks choice. |

![]() Just catching up here. I like the fresh looks here, guard rails and all. The black and anthracite remind me of my ratty Cosa and my P200 is a two-tone beauty In Greek colors of white and blue. But I would not paint those cowls! OK, a THREE-tone paint job may get you scorned or worse in some company... ![]() ![]() A nice two-tone paint job would look fine I guess , but IMO that nice red says you made it that way and after all " It's that whole scooters are built not bought thing going on." and you'll lose some of that w/ a perfect paint job. Besides, if you get a small ding or scratch it's no big deal, just more history. Spend your money and time on some other extra extravagance you want.

I'm gonna do the painting because the bodywork on the panels is one of my desired learning jobs on this bike. But I get where you're coming from Voodoo!

anyone have one of these Faco front racks? Greasy sold me one but it's missing the threaded rods. Just looking for basic detail - how long are the rods, what size thread, etc. Is it just a 90 degree bend, and how long after the bend? I think these can be fabbed, with just a few dimensions.

If fabbing, I'm thinking shrink wrap over all thread. I like the coat hanger template idea.

It's not a huge deal, he threw in some rims in the pile from this weekend. Just wondering if this might still make a suitable spare or not.

I'd run it as a spare, just don't forget that once it's on the ground, you're going to need a spare spare sooner than later.

Rack hardware I think can be ordered. If fabbing, get solid rod, m6 cutting die, and cut threads only where needed. Clean and tidy that way. All thread will cut thru shrinkwrap and then all bets are off on your legshield beading
