I am planning on attending for at least a day but it’s still uncertain if I will bring my scooter.

I will be there for all the events and rides. I will be bringing my 1962 Vespa GS160 (original paint). The rides are not too fast so any decent vintage Vespa that can do a reliable 40-45 mph should be fine for even the longer rides. If you want to bring one for the show I believe you should pre register that Vespa online, but then I am not 100% sure on this one.
This should be a fun event free of GTS riders that haven't a clue about the history of the Vespa or any of the iconic scooters Piaggio made that earned the company world wide favor. I would also like to see more diversity represented at this vintage Vespa event, so please do come and bring your ride. Hope to see you there. |

If it was in the mid atlantic states I could make it. Cali is a bit of a walk home if I break down on the side of the road

I used to live in the city and love riding in the area the rally will be held. It is definitely worth attending if distance permits. |

If you plan on riding to the concours the road up there can be a challenge for the less skilled and the other way is partially a mountain highway that would be a death wish to low powered scoots. Nice to know about the challenging roads. They are my favorite and I have plenty of experience riding some really tough routes our highway system has to offer. Mostly people should ride within their skill/comfort level and they should be fine. This is not a race after all. Hope to see lots of vintage Vespa there and let's have a good time riding together. |

I’m glad to hear about the road to the show. I had no idea that the show was somewhere else. I do ride my 52 Allstate, but never had it on a challenging ride. Hell it only goes 45mph on flat ground not to mention hills….I think I will keep it on the trailer.

I'd love to go to this event - but I won't be able to. Please take lots of pictures for me / us!
I was planning on it the first time, before Covid changed everyone's plans. David from ScooterMercato was going to come out - I was going to loan him one of my scooters for the weekend. What's the saying? All great plans of mice and men? And the world keeps spinning... |

I will be bringing my original paint 62' GS160 to VVD's and am undecided as to which scooter to bring to Run from the Sun. I am leaning towards my original paint US model SS180 if I can get it up and running right. |
