Can I say Thank You to the person that stopped in Stroud yesterday to check we were ok. I think it was a blocked jet and the scooter was just bogging down and losing power. We weren't too far from home and it was easier to push it rather than negotiate the roundabouts etc.

I don't know if you are a forum member but if you are, thanks for the concern and going out of your way to check on us.

A bit of troubleshooting when we got home and then a carb strip and it seems ok again now.

Cheers

Ian

Wasn't me but glad to know someone did. When riding or even in the car if we see someone stopped especially if alone in the middle of nowhere if traffic allows we will stop.

Recall one time while up in Canada on a major highway but in the middle of nowhere spotted a guy standing next to his older Honda. We were riding my Sportster/sidecar outfit. Asked the guy what the problem was and he said he thought he had enough gas to make it home but ran out five miles from there. Think I surprised him when I said no problem as I unstrapped the spare one gallon can from the sidecar frame and handed it to him.

Wasn’t me either, but I was taught to always stop and ask if a rider by the side of the road needs help.
