Often wondered what effect the glare-back of that OEM Piaggio fly screen for the Liberty was having on my jacket during my nightly rides.

I think I need to apologize to Piaggio for fussing about the way this screen works!

It's like having neon underwear!

Geeze! Just tape it off and paint the bottom already.

I was in the key's driving on the 7 mile bridge. Two nickle sized rocks flew off the vehicle in front of me and hit dead center on my wind screen. Would have hit me in the middle of my chest. So yes you are safer with a wind screen.
You could paint the whole screen and it wouldn't block your view. You have to paint the inside of the screen or the paint will slowly get sandblasted off.

That is an interesting side effect. Light is weird, man. But hey, if it doesn't interfere with your ability to see, more visibility is always a good thing.

My Faco fly screen, when looking thru it, has what looks like little cat ears from some light getting behind the screen. Everyone who's ridden it at night gets a laugh outta the cat ears.
