Modern Vespa

Hello all,

Unlike the rest of world, U.S.-spec Vespas come fitted with large and unattractive chrome highlighted front and rear fender reflectors. These are affixed via holes drilled in fenders and attached with grommets.

I’m looking for a less visually invasive, lower profile, aftermarket substitute.

I’m not interested in plugging the holes with perhaps equally ugly plugs.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Reflective tape, cut to the shape and size you wish and color you want.

I never got around to it but I was thinking like you and ordered these. I was going to try one in each hole but decided to stick with stock. You can get them in Amber for the front and red for the back.

I removed them and inserted the pre-painted scooterwest plugs but I like the idea of reflective tape if you still want the visibility.

I know hole plugs aren’t the most elegant solution, but Scooterwest has “pretty” plugs. Probably not what the OP is looking for, but other readers could be interested.
