there is 30 amp fuse mounted on the starter relay. its only for the starter and separate from fuse panel.
It is NOT only for the starter. It's the fuse between the regulator and the battery, just like the MP3 500s. Known as the 'hidden' fuse, it can cause dead battery problems. The circuit diagram is correct.
If it was between the battery and the starter, it'd blow every other time you tried to start...

I just took these pictures of my bv350. when I pull the 30amp fuse and plug harness back in. the bike doesnt start. and the gauge lights no longer work.
I dont know if the 500 here has the same setup. but my honda helix/silverwing and yamaha majesty all have the same setup for the starter relay
