I have 23/64 straight cut primary with a 7 spring clutch. Want to upgrade to the BGM superstrong but it does not appear they offer one for the Polini. Noticed a few chaps mention some modifications made to their gears to have them mate which got me wondering if this might be an option. Would a BGM 23 straight tooth be able to 'turn down' and fit? I am not clear on the incompatibility and could use enlightenment.

Not the same as yours, but I asked Scooter Center if the BGM 24T straight cut Cosa cog would work with my Malossi 63T straight cut primary. They said no, it only works with the BGM straight cut 63T and 62T primaries. Part of me doesn't buy that and wants to give it a try, but I'm kind of sitting on the fence

Thank you Swa45. I'm in a pickle sort of I'm building my Bollag GS engine which is going to need a P200 style clutch. My P225 has a Ddogg basket with Honda plates but had to move into Malossi springs to keep it from slipping. It's working pretty good now but easier with Pinasco springs.

Thought was to move the DDog into the GS with lighter Pinasco springs this should be great for the 150. That would allow the upgrade for the P225 if one can fit. Seems like an easy task to turn a gear down if that is all that is needed?
