Hi everyone!
I just bought a 2021 Vespa Primavera. I love it! In my excitement riding around I made a pretty silly mistake when attempting to open the front storage, or glove compartment. The correct way to open it is by pushing in on the key when in the on position, however I thought the rubber circle next to the ignition was a button to open it. I gave it a pretty good poke and pushed it right through. I can see now that the rubber circle was actually a plug for keeping water out (I think). Unfortunately, the plug is now inside of the body and I can't find a great way to get it out. I have 3 questions:
1. Is there an easy way to retrieve this plug?
2. If no, what might be the official name of this part so I can purchase a replacement?
3. Also if no, will leaving the plug in the body have any potential risks (e.g. getting lodged in something, getting too hot, etc.)
I've looked at a bunch of part catalogs and can't seem to figure out exactly what to call this part, but it seems to be pretty similar to parts that are called plugs, I just don't know which one exactly.
Thanks for any help to this new rider who has quickly learned their lesson to always ask before pushing too hard on something they aren't familiar with.
