If you have never listened to ZZ Top while riding, specifically this song, well there may be no hope…One member of the greatest trio in rock and roll was lost today.
Ride on Dusty Hill.
R.I.P. Dusty Hill. I'm guessing not unexpected - in an article I read after I saw the news, they said the band's long time guitar tech had stepped in to take Hill's place because of "a hip issue." They quoted Hill as saying, "The show much go on."
The band I was in in the 70s played quite a few ZZ Top songs. I've seen them several times live. Alas, the music makers from my era are passing on. I have long appreciated that "little ol' band from Texas."
