Modern Vespa

There’s a bit of an oddity with some of the photos that have been uploaded to the server. It’s almost certainly a bug somewhere, but I’m having trouble (a) understanding what’s happening, and (b) understanding how to correct it.

A whole bunch of photo uploads (over 100 of them) are on the server without a username attached to them. More specifically, every user who uploads a photo or avatar has a folder on members.modernvespa.net, and the uploads are all filed neatly by username. But there is a “blank” (or more properly null) username folder there as well, with a bunch of photos in it.

The filenames don’t show up in the database, and so I can’t figure out who they belong to.

Here are a few of those photos. I’m hoping someone will recognize something or someone in the photo and point me in the right direction of reuniting these photos with their owner.

I’m not actually sure it’s only a single user -- the photos are pretty random, spanning modern, vintage, and MP3 -- so it could be multiple users. But I’d like to know that too, in the hopes of tracking down whatever bug is causing this.

I don't recognize any of them, sorry, but #7 is really nice.

Google only gives a couple of hits on these. Which is odd.

Number 2 (the bicycle rider) caught my eye because I believe I recognize the place. The photo appears to have been taken in Florence, OR along the bank of the Siuslaw River.

Okay, seems clear that the images were from a variety of users, not a single user. Thus, the bug I'm hunting is a general one.

There were over 100 photos that lacked any kind of owner information. I've deleted them from the server.
