Easy decision when the alternative is to spend the day putting away the Christmas decorations. They can wait another week I think.

I scooted down to the lake and found Aunt Bessie out for a pedal. Good on her.

After that I went to see uncle Frank. He doesn't know how to ride a real bike so has one of these. Poor fellow. Hasn't been the same since his wife ran off with that bicycle salesman.

Frank has been developing a secret cannonball weapon. The triple battery. Normal batteries have a positive and a negative terminal, this one has a supplementary indifferent terminal. This battery should solve many problems, most of them ones you didn't know you had.

I had a formal errand for the afternoon so spent some time polishing the windscreen until it looked like glass. Some bugs will be along momentarily.

I had to pick up some parts for the bodge I am building, so went to see the local Vicar who get bootleg parts sent out from the Vatican, hidden in barrels of holy water.

Often the parts arrive rusty but this swingarm look OK.

Being a holy man the Vicar rides a Hodna of course.

He has this helmet which was left in the Church by a jilted bride.

Back home to my patiently waiting frame.

Most of the evening was spent pondering side stand knobs. Now about those Christmas decorations....
