Hey guys I know I will still need to fine tune

BUT for starting points have any of you changed from a Malossi Power (expansion pip) to a Polini and did you need to rejet

I have a Malossi P210 port matched cut away crank with PHBH30 carb currently running a Malossi expansion pipe but have just bought a Polini Expansion Box for the bike and to change over was wondering if there is usually a BIG need to change the jetting.

it would be easiest to start with current jets BUT dont want to run lean and seize...

My assumption is it should be the same or at least similar BUT wanted to make sure 1st. if anything I assume it may be too rich or so I am hoping then I can easily down jet as too rich wont damage anything compared to too lean

THOUGHT PLEASE

Polini as per this article

Is the Polini another expansion pipe or box?

Its a "expansion" Box type exhaust looks like stock but as per the https://scooterlab.uk/vespa-big-box-exhaust-shootout-feature-2/ article performs VERY VERY well with great mid range gains.... with my extra KG's makes lots of sense ROFL emoticon ROFL emoticon ROFL emoticon

at the end of the article they give a great comparison chart, for the use of the Box on a standard P2 and a Malossi 210 and assuming from these power output figures the malossi and Polini exhaust work very similar.
