Just wanted to give SIP a shout out for a quality repop. I know I and others have had some lemons from them in the last year or so, but... I had to buy a rim for my P200 project and it is hands down the highest quality repop I’ve had recently.

I had a pair of FA Italia to compare and some OG piaggio. It is of equal quality to the piaggio and blows the FA Italia away.

FWIW.

Thats some good news. Mind posting up some pics? I had a few SIP steel wheels a few years back, and they were basicly garbage. A few of the studs ripped away from the rim after just a few uses. So I trashed those and went back to OG piaggio. I'm glad you'rs are working well!

You're probably right... the SIP description says they are "made in Italy" for SIP. The last 2 rims I got from FAI looked pretty jank. Where as these look clean, straight and well made. Need to get some real milage on them, but a good first impression for sure. Maybe just a good batch?

(Jesse, will snap a pic albeit it's already mounted on the P.)

Makes sense. I have both and they’re indistinguishable except for the stamp.
