I bought a 2020 Sprint 150 from an insurance company that won’t turn over. It appears to be a vandalized scooter. When i insert the black key I found under the seat into the ignition and turn it on the immobilizer light flashes twice then stays on steady. Does this mean the scooter doesn’t see the key? No Vespa dealers near me. What are my options if I need to re-key? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

is the red button off ? (usually on right side of the handlebar )
it sounds obvious but happens.

have you got the red or blue key ?
ootherwise the control unit cannot recognise the black key if it is undecoded

you're going to need the ECU reflashed and a new set of keys and locks.

with out the master key, you cannot program new keys. thus a replacement or a reflash on that. andddd.... in this instance means new keys and lock barrels all the way around.

so, like a few hundred dollars. plus shipping.

(or you're proper fucked and have to get a new eco and keys, which is $$$$ instead of $$$)

agree.
at the end, the simplest way is to visit a Piaggio dealer

I am new to Modern Vespas is there a particular Vespa dealer that you all would recommend I send my ECU to for the re-key and ECU reflash? There is nothing near me.
