I got curious how the pandemic affected Vespa interest, so I took a peek at Google Trends.

Interest in the summer of 2020 was more consistently strong than previous years, but not incredibly so. June 2021 is double what it's been in recent years.

It's been a decade since interest was this strong, but still pales in comparison to 2008.

The long-term trend correlates well with our historic post counts.

What "this and that" accessories have you found and bought, could ya share on another thread. Maybe some of us might think of it as well.

I have not bought anything yet but I am specifically looking at tall windscreens and the thermoscud for winter riding. I really like the idea of enjoying all that radiator heat on a freezing cold day. I can't understand a word this guy is saying but he has good close-ups of every part of the thermoscud. It looks extremely well-made.

I have the termoscud and the windshield, they will go on sometime end of october or November.
I can tell you all you need to know about it if you need help. THere are two ballasts of air that keep the termoscud hold that shape. They are basically plastic bags that go inside a sleeve on either side and you blow them up from time to time when they loose some air. One of mine has a puncture that Ill fix before i put it back on later this year.

Thats the only consumable you can think of that you may replace if it has a puncture. Everything else is solidly built to last.
Advice to anyone using it, put some masking tape on the body as even though it is fabric/plastic rubbing against the body it does scuff up the pain.

Disney's Luca was released June 18, 2021. If you haven't seen it, it's basically what would happen if Piaggio sponsored a kid's movie. I'm sure there are other factors in the spike but I bet that contributed to it.

Yes, the average italian drivers buys high wheels, Honda Italia makes a very convenient pricing policy and offers better and more widespread technical assistance. Then Honda scooters sell better but are also the most stolen.
At position 9 are the three transport wheels sold to the Italian postal service.

That is a lot of Hondas. Where are they being built? I would hope that with that sales volume in Italy they would bless that market with an assembly plant.

Could it possibly be due to the rise in fuel prices?

I’ve always liked companies which endeavour to share the wealth with the countries in which they sell their products, Ikea is pretty good at this as well, they have a policy of manufacturing in any country in which they have outlets.
