Hi all

after some advice as electrics are not my thing, the engines been in a few months now with a new 12v loom fitted, i fitted also a 12v handle bar switch for the lights and everything is been working fine. Then thursday night all the bulbs blown, i then changed these and everything was working again on tick over and slight revs. i went out yesterday and everything has blown again. could someone point me in the right direction as to where the possible fault is?

thanks in advance.

If you are not running a battery, I suspect your voltage regulator is bad.

Just guessing but I would look at your voltage regulator.

As said above, your electrical system is producing more current at high revs than your bulbs can handle.

The fix is to either increase the wattage of the bulbs or regulate the voltage.
