Hello! While mostly about scooters or riding PTW in general, how many miles do you put on your scooters or motorcycles each year? Me? Well, my mileage varies. Over the last almost five years its been on average about 7,500. Much less last year and this year as I won't ride when ICU capacity dips below 15%.

When I was back in the UK, it was a steady 24,000 miles a year for some years. Mostly touring in the UK and France.

Now I'm 'over here'? Other things take up my time, so less than 3,000 a year.

Maybe 2,000 a year on average, all rides combined. Not quite enough in by book, but life gets in the way.

I've averaged between 5000 and 5500 miles a year for the last 40 years.

Just saying it makes me feel a bit old.

Most years there's been two bikes licensed up and ready to rock and roll in the garage at any time, but in my younger days there were as many as 5 licensed from an inventory of 13. What a sick little puppy I was!

Having kids put an end to that stuff!

About 8000km in the last 12 months. only 4000 the previous year including lockdown here.
Gabriella has made me ride more, I really enjoy the extra get up and go.

This year 620 miles ... The hip has some problems ...
Last year i drove 1200 miles, my routes i make mostly within 30 miles of my home.
To go to the city i use the car because I can use the card for disabled parking.
My places are less vast than in the great America, many roads like a spider's web with many dangerous intersections; this discourages the traffic of two-wheeled vehicles (we have a high percentage of deaths and injuries even on bicycles ...)
PS: I've done the kilometer mile conversion for your convenience.

I ride more than most.

The reason used to be because I rode almost every ride with the 7 Bridges Scooter Club.

COVID and other reasons slowed that down over the past several years.

The high mileage is largely due to having a great friend who likes to ride as much as I do.

That would be Lostboater.

He will let me know that he would like to go to Avon Park, or Wakulla, or Apalachicola, or Richland, GA, or North Carolina, and ask if I would like to come along.

Of course I want to join in, because those are my favorite rides.

So, between Oyster Tours, Courthouse Tours, Cannonball Runs, Gatherings and simple rides, I have ridden between 13,000 and 20,000 miles each year since 2010.

This year is on track to be in the same range, in spite of foregoing the Cannonball Run.

My mileage is split between four scooters (the Zuma mostly sits).

Last year I rode each of the three Vespas and the Xmax between 3000 and 3,500 miles. I rotate them on big rides and daily.

This year's mileage includes 990 miles in Wisconsin and Michigan on Madison Sully's GTS.

As for commuting, only around 500 miles per year as my home and office are 0.8 mile apart.

I've averaged somewhere around 27k miles/year over the last 10 years, Vespa and other bikes combined. I have a long (117 mile round trip) commute, and ride it just about every day.

Adding up the mileage of the of the three scooters that are, or were, mine, plus about 20% of the miles accumulated on my wife's scooters, plus six trips with the Vespa Club d'Mediterraneo, I would say I've averaged a hair under 3000 miles per year over the last fourteen years. My riding has been mostly limited to the six warmer months.
Now that I'm retired in the country, I think there has been a bit more riding in the last three than in the first eleven. Also, plenty of nice riding within an hour of home.

The majority of my annual miles are on group rides. My scooter group has one formal
