Hope someone can shed some light on this , my vbb 150 tends to jump once I let the clutch handle out and makes like a slipping of the gears noise for a second then goes , if I push off and release the clutch under lowing revs it doesn't jump or make a noise. I have tried adjusting the clutch cable a little bit sure how far to adjust though , Baffled by this , tia

Poor separation between the outer edge of the clutch base plate and the clutch gear.

Firstly... hiya & welcome.
Second... hopefully your VBB isn't a bodge (if you don't know what that is, check out "bodgespotting"
Thirdly... pics please, it's our version of porn.
Fourthly... what Gick said, or it hasn't been ridden for ages & plates are gummed up & sticking together, or crucifirm, or bad adjustment, or you were expecting it to work like a twistie.
