Modern Vespa

Come out for a Multi-Club Scooter Ride to and through the infamous Turnbull Canyon on November 6th, 2021.

There will be three meet-up spots to accommodate all clubs and riders:
First meet-up spot will be at Gen Korean BBQ in Torrance (Crenshaw & Lomita Blvds) at 12 noon; KSU at 12:30pm.

Long Beach area riders will meet at the CVS at Paramount & Del Amo Blvds at 12:30pm; KSU at 1pm when the group from Torrance arrives.

Next group will meet up in Whittier (location TBD) at 1pm; KSU at 1:30pm, or when the larger group from Torrance and Long Beach gets there.

At that point, the Mockers Riot Squad will lead us on their great route throughout Turnbull Canyon and the surrounding area. This part of the ride will last an hour to an hour and a half.
We will then end the ride at an eatery in uptown Whittier (TBD). There will be organized rides back to the original meet-up spots from there. Our aim is to beat sundown that day, which will happen at 5:55pm.

This will admittedly be a long ride, so don't come out unless you got the time to do it. The skill level for the ride is moderate to advanced.

Clubs participating (so far) are the Vespa Club of Los Angeles, the South Bay Scooter Club, the Mockers Riot Squad, the Long Beach Area Scooter Group and the Long Beach Scooter Club. All clubs and riders are welcome to join us, so we hope to see you there!

I want to be part of this ride! I live just a few miles away from Turnbull Canyon. Can you post an update where the Whittier meet up location will be and which restaurant in uptown Whittier the ride will end at. Thanks.

The meet up location will be at the Quad (corner of Whittier and Painter) near the Michael's @ 1pm. Leaving at 1:30. After the ride - for those who are interested - we will be ending at the Poet Garden for food and drinks.
