Enjoyed my first night-ride this evening.
Very enjoyable ride and I am delighted with the brightness of the LED headlight on the 2021 Vespa GTS 150. Works well on dip and on beam.

However, the dashboard/instrument-panel is "very bright" at night!

Is there a hidden dimmer switch somewhere?
If not, has anyone found a way to dim the instrument panel on the new GTS?

Nope. You need to learn to live with it. Or
You could make a tinted cover to put on top of it at night.

You could also take the whole thing apart and somehow dim the bulb itself.

Easiest way would be to use a small piece of the material (film) used for window tinting in cars.

It can be installed without removing the instrument cluster and it is easily removable if you don't like it... You also have several grades of dark film to pick from.. Instead of buying a full roll, you can probably get a small piece from a window tinting shop if you ask...

Thanks for taking the time to reply and for your suggestions.

I see that "clear" film is readily available for the instrument cluster.

It is surprising that someone hasn't made a tinted version of the protective film. I will keep looking.

Great thread and so timely. I rode my scooter for the first time in the dark last weekend and I was like, dang...this sucker is bright! I am sure it lights up my face as I ride. It would be cool to put some space age 3M reflector tape around my helmet face in the front to really pop for the left turners!
