Does someone have the answer to, when a new p200e was purchased how many keys were needed to lock-unlock all the keyed mechanisms?
Did the ignition key start the bike, unlock the glovebox and open the seat lock as well as the steering column lock?
Or were there different keys for the various locks?
If so can anyone say what combo of keys locked-unlocked the various locks?
Thanks

My PX150E has one key for the steering lock and the glove box, another key for the ignition switch on the headset, and a third key for the seat lock.

'87 PX200E - one key fits all. I'm pretty sure this would have been the same for any P series with multiple locks

I brought a kit with matching keys, so all match.

Ohh, it's not too tricky (if you have a steady hand) to change the mechanism to match

Also had 3, made them 2. I matched the steering lock, glovebox and seat. Main switch key is opposite cut so I couldn't match it too…

I had a mk1 p200e brand new in 1984 and it came with one key.

My px2003 came with two keys, one for ignition and one for glovebox and seat lock.

PE and PX are different.
PE Came with 3 keys. Ignition, Steering lock and glovebox. PE Ignition key useless. You can break the ignition with a nail file or random key and use any key to turn it.

PX 1 key does it all.
