The front brake lever has no resistance. I can pull all of the way to hand grip with no resistance. Checked brake oil on both sides. Besides bleeding the lines what else should I check.

I don't have an MP3, but here's a few ideas I came across via search:

Description of a potential problem:
please help to bleed front brakes

Post talking about addressing that bleeding issue:

Good luck!

Have you bled the brakes? If not, start there. This should be done every 2 years using fresh DOT4 fluid (sealed container). Do not use a container that has been sitting on the shelf for more than 90 days.

Also check the condition of your brake lines (cracks, tears, bulges, wet spots, etc.

It's possible that the master cylinder has gone kaput, too. But most likely there's an air bubble in the lines or in the slave cylinder. Any leaks? Was the fluid low in the reservoir? I don't know if there a linkage between the front and back brakes on the 250, but you might want to bleed the rear brake as well. Does the fluid pump out easily when you bleed the front brake?
