This floor mat came with a 1985 PX150E. The gap and overall fit is terrible. Going to assume previous owner bought the wrong one? Is this for LML Stella? Is there one for early PX chassis'?

That is the correct style for a 1985 PX (EFL). Possibly a poor repro rather than genuine. They are dark grey and were replaced by a black version later on in the 90's

Not hard and looks great for P-series. |

Crises averted. What these hacksters did was move the mat towards the glovebox about 2 inches, drilled new holes, and pop riveted their mat on. I have since found the original holes.
This is brought to you but the same hackathon that welded up the crankcase at the bearing seat, and used a liquid sealant to hold the seal in. That took me into the direction of a new set of Malossi cases. so.. Molossi V cases/VMC177/ceramic coated BGM Touring/BGM 57mm crankshaft/Pinasco 24.24 ER/Pinasco Clutch/standard PX150E ignition.
