Rear brake locked up !

MP3 500 sat in a temp. controlled garage for about 1 year. The emergency brake is loose - never used anyway, and the rear wheel is super tough to turn.
The brake lever is very stiff and hardly moves.
Greatly appreciate your suggestions, please.

The regular handlebar brake and the parking braked are separate systems. They each have a separate caliper on the back. Which one is stuck?

Hi thanks for responding, and the issue is with the regular brake lever on the handlebar.
The lever is tight against the hydraulic housing which seems strange.

Well, I'd start with the pivot pin for the lever to see if that is free. Then you'll have to check if the piston in the master cylinder is moving. Would be a very rare occurrence for it to be stuck, but you never know.

Spread the brake pads with a screw driver to see if the piston is stuck in the caliper

The mastercylinder is on the handlebar, the lever pushes the piston directly
