Noticed this for sale on well known UK website. Bigger transfers where cylinder meets case, bolt-on exhaust stub, better squish and [I assume] a different/better piston and thinner rings. At the price, it needs to offer something special, given the vast array of 177 kits on the market

For the same money, can't see a reason to buy this over the superior VMC.

Interesting find. Wonder what the timing is? Looks like that might be modernised too, as the aux exhaust ports have gone. Big tick for the thinner rings. Someone on here's going to buy one.

Beedspeed have massively improved. I ordered a bgm exhaust yesterday and it's out for delivery this morning. I ordered a hard to find nos stator and it came after two days. They weren't coping during lockdown but seem to have upped their game with proper live updates on delivery status via text message . Yes I waited 6 weeks for dr kit during lockdown but gave them another chance and they are good at the moment.

The folks at DR are smoking crack if they think anyone is going to pay $450 USD for that thing.

It looks like it probably has 1mm rings in the pictures, but that's table stakes for a performance kit these days. Past that, we'll have to wait for someone to get their hands on one, get some measures, and do a more detailed analysis.

It's amazing, isn't it? the only thing i can think is shops have a better ROI with these types of products.

compare to $320 for the VMC.

If you were charging cost+margin %, then sure, the more expensive part makes sense from a profit maximization perspective, but definitely not from a customer satisfaction perspective.

I'm increasingly curious about the VMC, but also have a new-in-box BGM 177 sitting on my shelf which cost, I think, $330, so pretty comparable pricing and probably performance, as well.

Genius.
Separates the needs of the cylinder and the needs of the stub.
Big plus vs the BGM Pro

Thought that was the VMC. Chose that over the BGM

Looking at the gasket in the DR pics. Scary.
Offhand that doesn't look like a Dremel and bolt on kit. As it is, the VMC matching has to be a little compromised on a stock px if you're not adding meat to the cases.

How about your BGM? Maybe we could trade kits
