Hi all.
Just got a 2011 LML 150 Star. Great scooter and happy with it.
My question is: Can the exhaust be modified to perform like a SIP Road 2.0 exhaust or is that just too much PT.
I am in South Africa, so importing parts or buying imported parts is pricey.

Also is there anything worth doing to uprate the existing carb, jetting?

Any info will be appreciated!

Hello, the SIP Road 2.0 is meant for a two-stroke engine and has a reversion chamber built in. GPR Makes an exhaust more suitable for the Star 4T and should work with minimal modification.

The carburetor is a bit of a choke point on these bikes. You can rejet, but you may consider a Pinasco carb kit to retrofit a larger carburetor and get a more noticable gain with the exhaust upgrade.

Thanks for your input.
I am running a 2T. Had Vespas and Lammys as a kid in the 80s and 90s in the UK. But a lot has changed in 30 years...lol.
I would have gone for a Malossi or a Pinasco pipe, but I have heard good things about the SIP 2.0.... Just seems a bit strange to have an upgraded pipe that looks like a standard pipe...lol. So that is why I wondered how much work would go into converting a standard pipe... Probably a lot of work.
I will run a larger carb.... I will definitely be asking on here for jetting info!
