Hi all

Does anyone know of a shop/person who works on MP3s near Greenville, SC? Would appreciate any good leads... the piaggio/vespa website lists the closest service location as 3 hrs away!

Going to cross-post this on the main forums too.

Hi dfray9
I did a quick internet search and it indeed doesn't seem to be anywhere nearby that officially lists the Mp3 or Piaggio scooters.

You might try calling service departments in the area and see if they would be willing to work on the Mp3 with the right wavers and you providing any unique parts. Sometimes repair shops just don't advertise that they're willing to work on some of the more exotic brands or will charge extra to do so. Other times they would be willing to-do basic work (brake fluid, oil, front-tires only) but would avoid or skip anything that appears too complex.

If your mechanically inclined and have the time, you can locate a basic motorcycle mechanics classes and cover the basic consumables. This is something I will be doing myself once I get sufficient time from family and work; till then its local shops.
